Step 1: Mid Point Calibration

n this step you will calibrate the probe using the Mid Point of the pH scale (7).

A. Power up your device.

B. In the device Settings be sure to select the correct probe type.

C. Leave the probe tip in the soaker bottle. Take a few readings and verify that the readings are between ~3.4 and 3.8. If the readings are outside this range the probe may be no good. To test this place the probe in a cup of water and see if you get a pH reading that is not 0. If the readings are good procced with the calibration.

D. Open the Mid Point (pH 7) calibration pouch. Place the probe tip into the Mid Point pouch.

E. In the app or on the device start the Mid Point calibration. From here the device will start the calibration process. Once it is done it will say if the calibration has passed or failed. If the calibration fails clean the probe tip and try again. If it passes, rinse the probe tip, dry it, and move to step 2.
